I've
been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I do
remember when I started creating jewelry. I was twelve and I wanted
to be fashionable, but my parents didn't have the money to
support my growing jewelry habit. My mom went to all the tag sales
in the area and bought all the junk jewelry, gave me some needlenose
pliers and told me to make my own necklaces and earrings with
my newly purchased tag sale swag. That was the beginning. I have
since gone to the State University of New York at Purchase and
received a degree in Set Design. I worked at BBDO for four
years, becoming the Lead Graphic Designer for the Digital Presentations
Department. I now work at Publicis New York as the Graphic Designer for all US new business. I am influenced by Karl Blossfeldt, Jeremy Fish, Marian Bantjes and the artists in the lowbrow art movement. I am constantly trying to
find new and unique ways of expressing myself and I hope you keep
coming back to see the new pieces as they come to life. |
